The Department is a public authority for the purposes of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and the Environmental Information Regulations, where they apply.
Some records describe events that have not yet become eligible for disclosure. Eligibility is a matter of date, not of convenience. The Department will neither confirm nor deny a holding where to do so would itself constitute an Excess Time Event.
