Assistant Temporal Survey Officer

Support the continuous watch over indicators of temporal imbalance in Wales and, where directed, associated jurisdictions.

Job description

• Attend reported Excess Time Events under the supervision of a Continuity Inspector.
• Complete field logs to the standard set out in DET-MANUAL-003.
• Preserve accurate and impartial records of all recognised events.
• Do not interpret causes. Record consequences.

Essential criteria

• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• A full UK driving licence, or the ability to travel independently across Wales.
• Accuracy in written English. Welsh is desirable.
• The ability to apply a published procedure without improving it.

Desirable criteria

• Experience of operational casework in a public body.
• Welsh to working standard.
