Community Programmes Officer

Deliver the community programmes through which the Department reduces harm arising from temporal displacement wherever reasonably practicable.

Job description

• Administer grants and local agreements under DET-COM-012.
• Work with local authorities and community groups.
• Report outcomes without claiming that ordinary life has been improved.
• Keep the public assurance: most citizens will never knowingly encounter an event.

Essential criteria

• Experience of community or grant programmes in the public or voluntary sector.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• The ability to travel in Wales.

Desirable criteria

• Welsh to community meeting standard.
