Public guidance: if an afternoon is missing
What to do. What not to do.
If an afternoon has failed to arrive where it was expected, continue with your ordinary affairs where you can.
Do not attempt to recover the hours yourself.
Notify the Department on form DET-44 if the absence produces a demonstrable effect upon your household or work.
Most such events are localised, temporary and resolved without lasting consequence.
