Guild practice: test an intention
PUBLISHED
Write one sentence naming what you want. Then answer: who is affected, whose choice is displaced, what would be fair exchange, and what ordinary action could pursue the same aim. Rewrite it so it concerns your own conduct: "make them love me" becomes "help me speak honestly and accept their answer".
Filings · the same record, other hands
The rewrite changes the structure, not just the words. You can only work on your own side of the table.
A practice, not a ruling. The clerk keeps the form; the answers stay yours.
Tried it. My intention got smaller and I could actually do it.
